Howdy folks, well. What a week it has been. It reminds me a lot of the early days after Hurricane Harvey. I help start West Street Recovery during that time and am glad they are still around to help during this disaster as well. It’s amazing to already see neighbors helping neighbors, just like during Harvey. It’s a long recovery from here, but hopefully we can get after it together.
The tomatoes and peppers spent the week inside with little light or warmth, but many still look viable. They haven’t had a lot of sun, as you can guess, so they don’t look great, but the forecast after Monday looks promising for tomatoes and peppers. These have touched 40 or 45 degrees, meaning they may not the the most productive ever, but considering they made it, I think they will be resilient from here. If you want to nurse them to health and give them a chance after their stressful week, they would love that.
I will not be at the sale this week, but Andrea will be. I know a little plumbing, so I will be out in Northeast Houston helping out where I can.
